PRP Training Website

PRP Training are a leading provider of entry-to-work training based in Pembrokeshire. Despite offering a variety of courses specialising in marketing and technology, their existing Wordpress website was outdated and broken, and therefore in urgent need of replacement.

We were awarded the task of carrying this project out, and were excited to be involved in delivering an online service that can truly help people either getting back to work or starting out in the workforce for the first time.

After discussions regarding current pain points for the organisation a clear solution was put in place, one that prioritised accessibility, ease of management and proven UX design techniques. You can see a breakdown of the various highlights of this delivery below.

One of our biggest challenges was creating a design that worked with minimal imagery; due to the nature of the work the client does, there was no bank of photos to use and obtaining new content would prove difficult. So a design which focused on design motifs and colours rather than photos was adopted. In addition this works seamlessly with the new branding which was also created.

What has resulted is a website that enhances usability for users and staff alike, improves SEO and ultimately reflects much better on PRP Training as a leading training provider.

Advanced Opportunity listings

Training opportunities can be easily listed by staff and browsed by users via simple filters. Listings pages feature clear breakdowns of information with dedicated enquiry forms, backed by our robust delivery stack.

Communication

A focus on Informative and aspirational content helps explain the 'how' & 'why. This includes a FAQ's and 'Help and Advice' section, plus a 'success stories' social proof section which gives confidence to users at a time when it may be needed most.

Branding Redesign

A simple logo redesign ensures that a new website look doesn't conflict with the old branding style, which like the website, was in need of a refresh. Existing features and colours of the brand were respected to provide an overall reboot to the identity.

Accessibility & Language

A range of standards and practices were employed throughout to provide the best experience possible for all users. The site is available in English and Welsh via a language switcher built with proper internationalisation (i18n) standards.

Easy updates

Built on our in-house Kirby CMS boilerplate which provides simple, powerful and secure editing. No Wordpress security patches, no fiddly plugins, just high performance sitewide.

Responsive Design

Designed with a fully responsive layout that adapts seamlessly across all devices, from mobile to desktop, ensuring a consistent and accessible user experience no matter how the site is used.
