Halen Môn Brand Feature Video

In late autumn 2024, we had the pleasure of heading up to the beautiful Isle of Anglesey to film a micro-documentary with the much-loved independent food brand, Halen Môn.

This video is part of the ongoing and successful ‘Supplier Stories’ series for Castell Howell - a campaign designed to highlight the incredible artisan Welsh producers that their trade partners have access to. By telling the stories and showcasing the strengths of both Castell Howell and their suppliers, these collaborative media projects expand reach while staying true to the core audience. In this case, it meant introducing Castell Howell to Halen Môn’s engaged following, and vice versa — a great example of how social media can be used to its full potential.

Filming this piece was a genuinely fascinating experience. We were given an inside look at the almost magical process of salt harvesting, and had the privilege of giving co-founder Alison a platform to share the deep passion she and her team pour into their work.

The response so far has been fantastic. Even long-time fans of the brand were surprised to learn how much care, craft, and natural science goes into every product, and just how many benefits it brings.

A big thank you to the Halen Môn team for welcoming us so warmly, and to Castell Howell for inviting us to be part of such an inspiring and meaningful series.
