As one of Wales' most established and respected companies, we were proud to be commissioned to design and build Castell Howell's new website - following several years of successful collaboration across various other digital projects for the brand.
The project starting with a focused discovery phase, which included competitor SWOT analysis, keyword research and strategy outline, web presence audits, and user research. This user research featured qualitative methods carried out with customers at Castell Howell events and via online questionnaires, and quantitative methods using a variety of digital tools.
By working closely with both Castell Howell and their customers we were able to use this discovery process to shape a strategy aimed at boosting conversions, meeting user needs, and improving SEO performance. These findings were first used to create a wireframe prototype ready for initial testing and feedback, before construction of the website commenced.
The result is a powerful, content-rich website of over 150 pages, combining performance-driven code with a clear, conversion-focused user experience.
