As one of Wales' most established and respected companies, we were proud to be commissioned to design and build Castell Howell's new website - following several years of successful collaboration across various other digital projects for the brand.
Starting with a focused discovery phase, we worked closely with both Castell Howell and their customers to shape a strategy aimed at boosting conversions, meeting user needs, and improving SEO performance.
The result is a powerful, content-rich website of over 150 pages, combining performance-driven code with a clear, conversion-focused user experience.
Featuring custom video and photography - all produced by Four Waves - the site is a standout example of our ability to deliver impactful, multi-disciplinary digital solutions.
Designed & built for seamless operation across all major screen sizes and device types. This not only improves user experience but SEO performance too.
Built alongside a robust SEO strategy defined at discovery stage, including long-tail focused article sections for geographic & industry demographics and food types.
Built to a tailored user-lead design strategy, including user research, user conversion funnels, user personas and other strategic data.
Packed with powerful and secure administrator features to streamline internal operations & make website updates simple across the entire team.
Being a multi-discipline studio enabled Four Waves to deliver a range of videos, photography and copy to take the website's messaging and reach to the next level.
Page speed matters not just for ease-of-use but SEO too. This website includes loads of geeky techniques to make it fast including optimised image delivery, lazy loading and more.
The previous website didn't feature clear conversion journeys. We created focused paths encouraging users to sign up with custom built application forms for internal delivery.
As part of the UX & content aspects of this project, social proof and trust metric content is incorporated throughout the site to increase user confidence.
