Erilan are an Australian clothing retailer with an inspirational story of growth; but it's the story behind the company's formation that's the most inspiring story of all. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, company owner Jill underwent a double mastectomy and found access and choice severely lacking when it came to clothing and accessories that catered to women like herself. After beating the disease, she set about putting that right by launching Erilan which has since become Australia's leading provider of mastectomy clothing.
Built on the shopify platform, Erilan has regularly undergone year-on-year growth. Jill by her own admission is not computer savvy, but thanks to support from Colour Mafia, an easy-to-use platform and a well constructred store theme and store infrastucture she is able to manage the shop herself to a very successful level.
Erilan is within the top 7% most successful shopify stores globally that launched in the same week.
Our custom built theme was built using Shopify's Timber framework, providing a responsive design for compatability on all major devices. We also incorporated a range of other features, some which are built into the theme and some which come from third party apps, including smart product filters, smarter google products integration, advanced user behavior tracking, gift cards, advanced url redirection and more.
In addition to the online store presence Erilan utilises a physical shop in the Australian city of Wagga, where all products are stocked and shipped from, and customers are able to book appoitnments and fittings. It's here that Erilan also uses a Shopify Point of Sales (POS) system which allows customers to easily use any major credit card as payment. The POS system natively syncs with the store, keeping all inventory, customer and order data accurate and in one central location.
Through Jill's memorable story and company's fundraising work in the community, Erilan is regularly featured in the media and has recently received the Inaugural Chambers Choice Award at the Wagga Golden Crow Awards which recognised her rapid growth.
